DMCA & Takedown Policy

APKTech respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid copyright and rights-holder requests.

Our goal is to provide access to free, unmodified Android application packages for users who need APK or XAPK files for compatibility, device access, or sideloading purposes. We do not host paid apps, cracked apps, modded apps, hacked games, or modified versions of applications.

However, if you are a rights holder, developer, publisher, authorized agent, or trademark owner and believe that content on APKTech should be removed, please contact us. We review valid requests and take appropriate action promptly.

Please send copyright, takedown, and rights-holder requests to:

How to File a Takedown Notice

To submit a copyright takedown notice, please send a written request that includes the following information:

  1. Your full legal name and, if applicable, the company or organization you represent.
  2. Your contact information, including your email address, mailing address, and phone number.
  3. Identification of the copyrighted work, app, brand asset, image, logo, file, description, or other material that you claim has been infringed.
  4. The exact APKTech URL or URLs where the allegedly infringing content appears.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner, rights holder, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please provide enough detail for us to identify the content and review your request efficiently. Incomplete notices may take longer to process.

Our Response to Valid Notices

We aim to review valid takedown notices within 24–72 hours.

If we determine that the request is valid, we may remove or disable access to the reported content. We may also contact the affected uploader, developer, publisher, or relevant party if needed.

For repeat or serious issues, APKTech may take additional steps, including removing related files, disabling related listings, or preventing future uploads of the same content.

Developer Removal Requests

APKTech wants to maintain a respectful relationship with Android developers and publishers.

If you are the developer or authorized representative of an app and you do not want APKTech to host or list your app — even if the app is freely distributed — simply email us at:

dmca@techapk.app

Please include the app name, official developer or publisher name, and the APKTech URL if available.

No formal DMCA notice is required for this type of developer removal request. We would rather have your permission than your traffic.

Counter-Notification

If content you own, manage, or submitted has been removed from APKTech because of a takedown notice, and you believe the removal was caused by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification.

Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your full legal name.
  2. Your contact information, including your email address, mailing address, and phone number.
  3. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled.
  4. The URL or location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  6. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court for your location, or if you are outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of a court where APKTech or its service provider may be found.
  7. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice or their authorized agent.
  8. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please send counter-notifications to:

Email: dmca@techapk.app

After receiving a valid counter-notification, APKTech may forward it to the original complainant. The removed material may be restored if the original complainant does not take further legal action within the required period.

Misrepresentation

Please do not submit false, misleading, or bad-faith takedown notices or counter-notifications.

A person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be responsible for damages, legal costs, or other consequences under applicable law.

Trademark, Logo, and Brand Requests

If your concern involves a trademark, brand name, logo, app icon, screenshot, or developer identity rather than copyright, please still contact us at:

Email: dmca@techapk.app**

Include the app name, brand name, affected URL, your relationship to the brand or developer, and a clear explanation of the issue.

We review trademark and brand-related requests seriously, especially when they involve impersonation, misleading attribution, or unauthorized use of official brand assets.

Repeat Infringer Policy

APKTech may remove content and restrict access for users, uploaders, or sources that repeatedly violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove listings, files, pages, or related materials when we believe continued hosting may create legal, security, or trust concerns.

Important Notes

APKTech is an independent Android APK resource. We are not affiliated with Google, Google Play, or the app developers listed on our website unless clearly stated.

All app names, logos, trademarks, screenshots, and brand assets belong to their respective owners.

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or platform changes.
